The flexible learning will be obtained thorough the use of the multimedia software in a dictionary format (CD-Rom) and internet site. The project will provide specific Lifelong learning for a traditional sector including those acquired through formal and informal learning, the welding technology and metal working companies.

This project will support person of the target group in training and further training activities in short term, in the acquisition and the use of knowledge, skills and qualifications to facilitate personal development, employability and participation in the European Labour Market in long term. Moreover, the project will improve quality and innovation in vocational education and training systems, welding sector and ease the development of innovative practices in the field of welding education and training other than at tertiary level, and their transfer, including from one participating country to others in long term. In addition these, the project will improve the quality and to increase the volume of co-operation between institutions and organisations obtaining learning opportunities, enterprises, social partners and other relevant bodies throughout Europe.

The most important impact is that the project will support the development of innovative ICT-based content, services, pedagogies, and practice for lifelong learning in short and long term.
