Transfer of Welding Multimedia Software (WELDICTION-TR) is a project which covers the most well-known welding terms, in a multimedia dictionary format, with the changes of this area, together with difficulties in definition of specific terms, internationalisation of this market.
WELDICTION-TR aims at transferring the training tool that had been developed by EWF project through adapting it to relevant national needs and languages in order to ensure effective evaluation and validation. This tool will enable the achievement of new linguistic skills in the welding through supporting improvements in quality and innovation in vocational education and training systems, institutions and practices, in the acquisition and the use of knowledge, skills and qualifications to facilitate personal development, employability and participation in the European Labour Market.
With this transfer of innovation project, It will be provided that quality of VET systems and practices related to welding in Turkey and partner countries will have renewed appropriating as European Welding Federation (EWF) standard and terminologies, by the time project result in. For this purpose, quality of educational system and practise of vocational high school and universities will also be developed. The effective teaching of welding terminology to our students is very important, since they will work welding companies, research centres and other metal working sectors related to welding. Beside this some other institutions and companies interested in working lifelong learning program and courses. They will use the outputs as training tools.
This project will support person of the target group in training and further training activities in short term, in the acquisition and the use of knowledge, skills and qualifications to facilitate personal development, employability and participation in the European Labour Market in long term. Moreover, the project will improve quality and innovation in vocational education and training systems, welding sector and ease development of innovative practices in the field of welding education and training other than at tertiary level, and their transfer, including from one participating country to others in a long term. In addition these, the project will improve the quality and the volume of co-operation between institutions and organisations by obtaining learning opportunities, enterprises, social partners and other relevant bodies throughout Europe. The most important impact is that the project will support the development of innovative ICT-based content, services, pedagogies, and practice for lifelong learning in a short and long term.
